If you have an Xperia Phone probably Xperia S or SL you would be wondering when your phone will get the flavor of jellybean, so you don't have to wait anymore. Sony released Jellybean for these devices in Middle East and Russia and will hit more regions soon but if your device is modified then you can get Jellybean for yourself without any wait. We will tell you how but before that lets take a look what jellybean update features in Xperia S and SL.

1. Download Flashtool latest version from any of the mirrors below.

2. Download the firmware file for JellyBean from Here.
3. Place the FTF file in the C:\Flashtool\firmwares folder. or where you have installed Flashtool
4. Open FlashTool and click on the lightning symbol
5. Select Flashmode from the popup window
6. Select the firmware that you have downloaded in the left column. If you do not want to do a clean install ensure ‘Data’ is not ticked. Press the ‘Flash’ button.
7. Connect your Xperia to the pc.
8. When you see the prompt below you need to connect your Xperia handset to the PC. Turn your phone off. Press and hold the volume down button while plugging the USB cable into your Xperia.
9. Once you see the “Flashing finished” message in Flashtool, remove your handset from the PC and restart it (this may take a few minutes so don’t panic).
10. Your Xperia is updated to JellyBean enjoy the superb new look and great features.
